Death came in Ft. Bidwell on October 1, 1951.
She was brought by her parents to Cedarville in 1866. It is believed that she is one of the last survivors of those entering Surprise Valley in the 1860's.
In March 1876, she was married to William Herron in Cedarville, and they remained in the vicinity until 1913 when they moved to Ft. Bidwell, where Mr. Herron died in 1924. She continued to reside in Ft. Bidwell until her death.
She was the mother of seven children, four of whom preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edna McManus and Mrs. Grace Fee of Ft. Bidwell and Mrs. Ercell Fox of Cedarville. Also 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grand children; and by four great-great-grandchildren.
Interment was in Cedarville cemetery October 4, 1951.
