Orval J. Neuenschwander, 90, a resident of Berne, died on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Swiss Village.
He was born on November 3, 1916, in Adams County, to Noah and Mollie (Lehman) Neuenschwander. He was married on November 11, 1939 to Pollyanna Lehman. She survives.
He is survived by two sons, Olin L. (Rita) Neuenschwander of Fort Wayne; and Ryan L. (Debbie) Neuenschwander of Kathleen, Georgia; three daughters, Mrs. Chloe Ellen Johns of Hemet, California; Mrs. James (Wanda) Nussbaum of San Antonio, Texas; and Mrs. Gary (Beth) Hart of Monroe; one sister, Mrs. Charles (Waneta) Habegger of Berne; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27 at the Swiss Village auditorium, and one hour prior to the 2:00 p.m. service on Thursday, June 28 at the First Mennonite Church. Officiating are Rev. Craig Maven and Rev. Anita Rediger. Burial will be in MRE Cemetery.
