Born Aug 6, 1892, in Clinton Township, Butler County, he was a son of the late Joseph and Clara Porter Brewer.
He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Norris Brewer of Saxonburg R. D. 1; two daughters. Mrs. Joseph (Helen) Roberts of Sarver R. D. 2 , and Mrs. Samuel (Lois) Boyer of Big Sandy, Mont.,; Five brothers, Everett and Andrew Brewer in Montana, George of Cabot R.D. 1, Melvin and Chester of Saxonburg R.D. 1; a sister, Mrs. Robirda Thrower of Saxonburg R. D. 1; and two grandsons.
Brewer- Friends of Charles Patterson Brewer of Saxonburg R.D.1, who died Thursday, April 28, 1960, will be received at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday from the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Wierman, pastor of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. Arrangements by Fox.
