Mrs. Mattie Box Buried Sunday at Ebenezer Church Cemetery
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Mattie Jane Box, age 89, at Ebenezer Church on August 13, with Rev. Clarence Burdine officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Green-Wilkes Funeral Home in Charge.
Mrs. Box died in the Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko August 11, after an illness of only four hours.
She was a native of Choctaw County, and was a member of the Crepe Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bob Bramlet of Weir, and Mrs. Jewel Moseley of Starkville, 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
