Mrs. Priscilla Jane McCroskey, 75 years old, widow of Matthew Carson McCroskey, died this morning at 5 o'clock at the home, Route No. 8, Springfield, Missouri. Mrs. McCroskey was a pioneer resident of Greene County, having lived here during the Civil War. The deceased, at the time of the Civil War, resided on a farm near the place where Elfindale Catholic School now stands. The decedent is survived by four sons, Samuel Edward McCroskey, Rudy, Felix and June McCroskey; by seven daughters, Mrs. J.W. Zongker of Dade County; Mrs. J.C. Perkins, of near the old home on Route No. 8; Mrs. A.F. Wilson. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home. Interment will be made in Brookline Cemetery under the direction of the Alma Lohmeyer Funeral home. Rev. Smith of this city will officiate.
