NIAGARA FALLS - Patricia H. Achilli, 69, of Wrobel
Towers, formerly of 15th Street, died Monday (Dec. 7, 1998) in St. Mary's Hospital.
Born Easter Sunday, March 31, 1929 in Niagara Falls.
She was a daughter of Henry and Gertrude Nunn Hawkes.
On Oct. 8, 1949 in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, she married Oscar V. Achilli, who died April 11, 1985.
Mrs. Achilli moved to Olean as a child and graduate
d from Olean High School in 1946. She also graduated from the Kelly School of Business in
Niagara Falls. She was a former employee of the Niagara Falls Information Center located downtown in Niagara Falls, from the late 1980s until the early 1990s.
She was an avid reader with interest in alternative
health and in the general history of the Niagara Falls region. She was devoted to her family. She loved animals and music, especially classical music and musical theater production. Mrs. Achilli was a member of St. Peter's
Episcopal Church.
Surviving are a son, Kerry S. Achilli of Lewiston;
five daughters,
Judith L. Grizanti of Liverpool, Suzanna E. Saunders, Kathy J. Wrobel, both of Niagara Falls, Wendy Colucci of Lewiston, and Lisa J. Achilli of Niagara Falls; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three
sisters, Margaret Brown of Lewiston, Helen Thompson
of Oregon, and Muriel Field of Port Myred; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Achilli was predeceased by herparents, and two brothers, Robert Hawkes and Arthur
Hawkes.
