∼Jeffery Abernathy, 35, of Columbus, Neb., formerly of Campbell, Mo., died Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Creighton University Medical Center.
Born Jan. 4, 1974, in Kennett, son of Rick Abernathy and Joan Smothers Abernathy, he was a car salesman for Phil Spady Dodge in Columbus and a member of the Campbell General Baptist Church.
On Feb. 12, 2000, in Campbell, he married Cindy Little, who survives.
