ELIZABETH ARANTZ -
Funeral for Elizabeth Arantz, 89, of 120 Marsey Lane in Homewood will be Monday at noon at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Michael MacMahon officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery with Brown's Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Rosary service will be at 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Arantz died Saturday at St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and formerly a lifelong resident of Decatur.
She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Eltz of Homewood; one son, Carl F. Arantz Jr. of Savannah, Ga; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include Frank Brown, Harold Aday and James Eltz.
