CRANMORE, JESSE W., JR. - Beech Park Baptist Church Deacon, age 66, a resident of the Marlow Community in Anderson County, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at his home while surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Cranmore was born June 14, 1942 in LaFayette, Georgia. He has lived in Tennessee for the past 54 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and a devout Christian who served the Lord for 49 years. Jesse retired in 1995 from Jim Cogdill Dodge as an ASE Master Technician. He was previously employed at VanSlyke Automotive in Knoxville and he co-owned and operated D & C Auto Care Center in Oliver Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse W. Cranmore, Sr. and Dovie Ruth Hilburn Cranmore; and by three sisters, Gwen Jones, Juanita Collinsworth and Frankie Cranmore. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jerry Ann Robbins Cranmore; by sons, Jesse W. "Rusty" Cranmore, III and wife Sandra, and Bryan T. Cranmore and wife April; by a daughter, Teresa Freels and husband David all of Clinton. He has four grandchildren: Jessica Stubbs and husband Luke of Harriman, Andrea Beck, Jared Cranmore, and Bryan T. "BJ" Cranmore, Jr. all of Clinton; by step-grandchildren, Dylan Mahan, Adam, Dustin, Kristen and Randall Freels; and by 4 step-great-grandchildren, Seth, Isaac, Melik, and McKenzie; by a nephew and two nieces, John, Sheila, and Cindy all of Georgia. He is also survived by special friends: Sam Hager, Pastor Robbie Leach, and Elmo and Cathy Anderson. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Friday, November 21, 2008 at Beech Park Baptist Church with the funeral to follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Luke Kidwell and Rev. Jason Lowe officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Anderson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Beech Park Baptist Church Building Fund, 606 Butler Mill Rd., Oliver Springs, TN 37840.
