Bonnie Kate Pack Carrell, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on July 8, 2009 at her son's home in Draper UT.

She was born in Jasper Tennessee March 25, 1926 to Martin Luther Pack and Farnada Shelton.

She is survived by her brother-in-law Don Syrett Carrell and her children James Edward Carrell, Donna Sue Carrell Keele, Bonnie Mae Carrell Gines, John Martin Carrell, Nada Lynn Carrell Broderick, 36 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, Robert Butler's 8 children, and the families of her late sister Allie Pack Erwin and late brothers Lasco and Hubert Pack.

Bonnie spent many hours playing the piano, singing, and creating beautiful crafts. She also loved serving in her church. Among many other positions she served as a missionary in South Ogden with her second husband, Bob Butler. To her, it was very important that she develop strong and happy relationships with everyone she knew. Bonnie was preceded in death by her first husband of 48 years, King William Carrell and her second husband of 8 years, Robert John Butler and by her son George Martin Carrell and two grandsons. Bonnie married King for time, on January 25, 1943 in Lima, Ohio and for eternity on January 14, 1967 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.

Funeral Services will be held at Myers Mortuary 845 Washington Blvd. Ogden UT 84404 on Saturday July 11, 2009 at 12 noon – 1 p.m. Viewings will be held Friday evening from 5-7pm and 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to funeral services Saturday at Myers.

Interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery near Kamas UT.
