Elizabeth Catharine Dunlap was the daughter of Archibald Dunlap and Margaret Minnic/Minnick. She was the 2nd wife of Daniel Rife and raised his son, William Alexander Rife. After Daniel's death, she became the 2nd wife of George Smith (and was buried beside his 1st wife). She is incorrectly listed as WIlliam's mother on his marriage and death certificates, as his mother Sarah, died in 1853.
