Leona A. Durst
Leona A. Durst, 82, died Friday at Sharp Cabrillo Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., and had lived in San Diego since 1937, where she was active in the Women's Guild of Point Loma Community Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Durst was the widow of Cedric M. Durst, manager of the San Diego Padres from 1939 to 1942.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Point Loma Church. Burial will be at El Camino Memorial Park.
Survivors include a daughter, Autumn Keltner, of San Diego; a son, Cedric M. Durst Jr. of Buena Park; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A brother, Joseph Campbell, lives in San Marcos.
