Garnet C. Ricker, 90, died at 12:29 p.m. Jan. 17, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center.

She was born May 22, 1920, in Galion County to Lawrence Peter and Tracy Elizabeth Teman Snyder, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 27, 1944, she married Arthur Leondess "Rick" Bame, who died Feb. 1, 1960. On March 1, 1963, she married Alvin Ricker, who died in July 1997.

Mrs. Ricker had been an assistant manager at the Delphos IGA for more than 25 years. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Larry (Kathy) Bame, of Hadley, Mass.; a daughter, Sue Ann Ries, of New Haven, Ind.; a stepsister-in-law, Joann Klausing, of Delphos; and six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jon Kevin Truesdale; a brother, Emmett Henry Snyder; four stepbrothers, Louis, Ralph, Gene and Don Klausing; and her stepfather, John Klausing.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos. The Rev. Mr. Howell and Pastor Ron Lumm will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Mennonite Cemetery, Elida.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church.
