Lynn Robert Boe, 76, of Longview passed away at home the evening of Sept. 12, 2008, after a reoccurrence of cancer.
He was born Sept. 2, 1932, to Nels and Ella (Murphey) Boe in Glendive, Mont.
Mr. Boe served in the Army after the Korean War. In 1972 he moved to Longview.
He is survived by his wife, Emilew Boe at home; a son, Tom Boe; two daughters, Michelle Sims and Lisa Fort; a daughter-in-law, Valerie; a son-in-law, Michael; five grandchildren, Ryan Boe, Eric Boe, Ashley Boe, Sydney Sims and Spencer Sims; five brothers, Russell Boe, George Boe, Nels Boe, Gordon Boe and Eric Boe; a sister, Margaret Rehberg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park.
