HANNAH MCCARTHY

Mrs. Hannah McCarthy, __, of 936? No. __th St., died Saturday ___ at Holy Family
Hospital following an illness of several months.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Mittnacht Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 9 o’clock at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, the Rev. E. A.
Radey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born Aug. 19, 1873 in Manitowoc, the daughter of the late Anton and Ann
Sampe E___. She attended St. Boniface school in Manitowoc and in 1895 was married
to John P. McCarthy. The couple made their home in Manitowoc. Her husband died in
1936.
Survivors include two sons, Leo and John, both of Manitowoc, a daughter, Mrs.
Emmett A. Norton, of Kewaskum, Wis.; two brothers, John Klein of Chicago and Paul
Klein of Pasadena, Calif., three sisters, Miss Olga Klein of Chicago, Mrs. Thomas
Considine of Geneva, Ill., and Mrs. Jerome Hines of Sacramento, Calif.; 10 grand-
children, five great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Sunday where the rosary will be
recited at 7 p.m. by the Holy Innocents Altar Society of which she was a member
and by the Knights of Columbus.
