Wilfred Raoul Aguilar, 60, passed away July 28, 2009 at Hospice Austin's Christopher House. Wilfred was born in El Paso, Texas and was preceded in death by parents Raoul M. Aguilar and Jesusita D. Aguilar of El Paso. He is survived by wife Susan Allen, sons Andrew and Brian Allen-Aguilar and by siblings Manual Aguilar of Austin, Adelina Gill, Cecilia Hernandez, Mary Yañez, and Teresa Nuñez of El Paso. Former Judge Aguilar practiced law in Austin for over 30 years and served as County Court at Law Judge where many young lawyers claim he guided them with professional wisdom. He is a graduate of Cathedral High School and earned a bachelor's degree from U.T. El Paso in 1971. Wilfred received a Law Degree from U.T. Austin in 1976. He loved helping people and enjoyed camping activities. The most important aspects of his life were his family, twin boys "Brandrew" as he lovingly called them, and his legal profession. The many people who loved Wilfred are celebrating his life and his legacy of giving from the heart and never expecting anything in return. He was truly a good man and will be missed by his family and friends. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 31, 2009, visitation 5-8 p.m. Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. at Austin-Peel & Son Funeral Home, 607 East Anderson Lane. On Saturday, August 1, 2009 viewing 10-11:30 a.m. with funeral services at 11:30 a.m. at Riverbend Church Smith Chapel, 4214 N. Capital of Texas Hwy, Austin, Texas 78746.
