Sally Ritchie
REDDING -- Services for Sally Margaret Ritchie, 78, of Redding will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Redding.

The Rev. Stephen McDougall of the church will officiate.

Burial will be at Redding Cemetery.

Mrs. Ritchie died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, at Redding Medical Center.

Born Dec. 5, 1919, in Hayward, she moved to Shasta County in 1961 from San Leandro.

She was a homemaker, a member of First Presbyterian Church in Redding, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Redding, serving as chaplain of the Pierson B. Reading Chapter, a member of the Senior Citizens Association of Shasta County, a member of the Redding Medical Center Auxiliary and a Redding Medical Center Pink Lady.

Survivors include husband Roy; sons Max Clark of Boulder Creek and Gerald Trumbull of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; stepsons Martin Ritchie of Redding, Chris Ritchie of Cameron Park and George Ritchie of Phoenix; daughter Tammy Alunan of Hayward; stepdaughter Sue Thompson of Redding; sisters Alice Smeeton of Redding, Josephine Smith of Sparks, Nev. and Ora Nielson of Railroad Flat; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.
