"Nettie L. Worthington, 77 died Wednesday, July 1 at 9:30 p.m. at her residence. She was born in Posey County August 11, 1914 to Samuel Edward Bottomley and Nellie Allyn Bottomley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard who died in July 1968. She is survived by two sisters, Lydia Merdith of Mount Vernon and Fern Winchester, Newburgh, Ind.; a brother Ralph Schmidt of Jackson, Cal.; nieces and nephews. Services were held Saturday, July 4, at Norvell Funeral Home with burial at Bellefontaine Cemetery."
