Mrs. Alice C. Chambers died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Victor Hamilton, 127 West Bidwell street, at 9:45 o'clock Saturday morning, following an illness of about four weeks. She was 70 years old and leaves five children, two daughters, Mrs. Hamilton, at whose home she died, and Mrs. O. R. Simmons. 66 Winter; three sons, Ernest F. Chambers, Joseph F. and Ray G. Chambers of Augusta; three grandchildren and two brothers, Luther Giddings of Kalamazoo and Willis Giddings, residing near Holloway. Funeral announcements will be made later.
