A memorial service for Betty Lou Foglesong, 58, Linwood, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary-Eudora Chapel. Inurnment will be in Eudora Cemetery.
Mrs. Foglesong died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 28, 1951, in Dexter, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd Dean and Bethel Harper Whitecotton. She moved in 1988 to Lawrence, where she lived until three years ago when she moved to Linwood.
Mrs. Foglesong worked as a receiving clerk at Wal-mart for 20 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Lawrence.
She married David Foglesong on Dec. 14, 1968, in Omaha, Neb. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Scott Foglesong and wife Stephanie, Perry, and Steven Foglesong and wife Jenna, Olathe; two sisters, Loy Dean Griffin and Carol Ann Hougham, both of Adel, Iowa; a brother, Alan Whitecotton, Stuart, Iowa; and four grandchildren, Nate, Emily, Chris and Grant.
