A loving father and grandfather, Mr. Smith died July 14, 2004. The family will receive friends Friday between the hours of 10 a.m. - 12 Noon, at the Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. W. D. Thomson and Rev. Chuck Groover with burial in the Smith Family Cemetery.
Survivors include: daughters Diane Smith, Andrea Smith and five step-daughters; sons Milton Smith, Paul Smith and three step-sons; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister Christine Brown and brothers Clarence Smith and Neland Smith.
Family members will serve as pallbearers. Hermitage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
