Louise S. Williams, 82, of Greenup, died at 2:20 a.m. Saturday (May 26, 2001) at Mattoon Health Care Center.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday (May 30) at the Barkley Funeral Home in Greenup with the Rev. Tim Pearce officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery in rural Greenup. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

She was born June 19, 1918, in Greenup, the daughter of Edward Champion and Mayme (Tutewiler) Stewart. She married Thomas Leonard Williams on 4 Sep 1937 in Greenup. He died in 1999.

Surviving are one son, Charleston Williams of Lakeside, CA, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams was a seamstress at Ettelbrock Factory in Greenup and a member of the Toledo United Methodist Church.
