Jack M. Zartman, April 7, 1931 - May 31, 1995, Word has been received that Jack M. ZARTMAN, 64, Merritt Island, Fla., died Wednesday, May 31. He was born in Rochester to Dewey M and Bernice I. WELLER ZARTMAN. He graduated from Columbia Grade School and Rochester High School and served four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. In March 1958 he graduated cum Laude from Indiana Technical College, Fort Wayne with a mechanical engineering degree. He was part of the U.S. Space Program while working for Chrysler in Detroit, Mich.; Redstone, Ala.; Bari, Italy; New Orleans, La., and Cape Canaveral, Fla. He worked at the Kennedy Space Center for more than 30 years. Surviving are one son, J. Michael [ZARTMAN], Altamonte Springs, Fla.; one daughter, Robin A. CANTWELL, Merritt Isand, Fla.; two granddaughters, Abigail N. ZARTMAN, and Danielle A. CANTWELL, both of Fla., and one sister, Betty M. YEIDER, Woodburn. Preceding in death was an infant daughter, Ronna K. ZARTMAN, and a brother, Winsell D. ZARTMAN. Services were Saturday, June 3 at Wylie-Baxley Merritt Island Funeral Home, Fla. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6983 North Wickham Road, Melvourne, Fla. 32940-7549, or Brevard Hospice, 110 Longwood Avenue, Rockledge, Fla. 32955-0965.
