STEPHENS, MRS. MARY
Died at her residence in Galvez at 11 a.m. Tuesday. A native of Prairieville, she was 77. Services at the Welsh Parlors in Gonzales at 9 a.m. Thursday. Religious rites at Galvez Pentecostal Church at 9:30, conducted by the Rev. Hareld Alford and the Rev. George Lawrence. Interment in the Mount Zion Cemetery at Galvez. Rabenhorst Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She is survived by her husband H.B.; one son, Joseph T., Galvez; six daughters, Mrs. Johnny Dixon and Mrs. Hulon Jones, Galvez, Mrs. Vick Villar, Gonzales, Mrs. Sam Pearson, Lake, Mrs. Emile Millet, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Van Evans, Clinton; two sisters, Mrs. Marshall Fife, Gonzales, and Mrs. Julius Watt, Coyell; one brother, Johnny Du Pleisses, Maurepas; 48 grandchildren, 82 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
