Mrs Theresa Griffin Burke age 53 of 1502 East 26th St. died in a local hospital early Friday morning following an illness of several weeks. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Houston Texas and a native of Alabama. Mrs Burke had been a resident of Chattanooga for some four years. The family resided in Houston for many years. Survivors are son; Andrew A. Burke Jr. Chattanooga; and three sisters;

Funeral services will be held this morning at
9 o'clock in S.S.Peter and Paul Catholic Church
with Father George J. Flanigen officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Active
pallbearers will be D.D.Watson, E.L.Madewell, Richard Buffington, H.W. Cook, V.D. Townsend and Jerry Erwin, Ladies of the Altar Guild Society of S.S.Peter and Paul Catholic Church are requested to attend the funeralthis morning. The body is at the Turner Funeral Home.
