This family originated in Tishmongo, MS. They moved to Texas and back to MS. The mother, Delia, apparently dies before the 1880 census, probably in MS. The Reverend and the younger children end up in Texas, mainly Bee Co.
"Mattie" married John D. Nevil 10 April 1892 in Beeville, Bee Co, TX at the Methodist Church. The children listed in the Justice Precint 1, Trinity Co, TX 1900 census are: Marilda, Sarah and William.
