Oglethorpe Co. Ga. Newspaper - Friday, March 18, 1927 - After being confined to her bed for several weeks Miss Dora Martin, near here (Vesta) breathed her last Friday afternoon of last week at one o'clock. She had been a great sufferer from being burnt and God saw fit to call her to the world beyond. Miss Martin was a member of the Baptist church at Vesta since early womanhood.
She leaves to mourn her going one brother, Mr. George Martin. Funeral services were held in the Vesta Church, Rev. West officiating.
