Kenneth L. McGuire, 99, passed away Sunday Morning August 2, 2009, at Emeritus at Barrington Place, Lecanto, FL. He was born September 14, 1909, in Walworth WI, to Elvin and Grace McGuire. He married Frances M. Olson in 1932. She died Oct. 17, 2009. He was employed as an Engineer by Fairbanks and Morse, Diesel Division, in Beloit, WI, for more than 30 years. He enjoyed watching "Rays" Baseball, golf, Indy Car racing, and Florida College football. His favorite driver was Danika Patrick also was passionate about Duke University basketball.

He is survived by his sons Edward and wife Ella McGuire and Keith and wife Kelli McGuire; four grandsons and ten grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers and one grandson.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at The Old Stone Church in Rockton, IL with the Reverend Dan Herman officiating. Many thanks to the nurses at Barrington Place and HPH Hospice for their special care in his last days.

Kenneth and Frances' ashes were scattered at sea together in the shallow waters near Amelia Island, a beautiful place and one of the barrier islands off the coast of Florida.
Kenneth L. McGuire, 99, passed away Sunday Morning August 2, 2009, at Emeritus at Barrington Place, Lecanto, FL. He was born September 14, 1909, in Walworth WI, to Elvin and Grace McGuire.
