Funeral for Kenneth T. "Papa" Bennett, Sr., 76, Lawton, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Byron G. Elmore, pastor, Calvary Assembly of God, officiating.

Mr. Bennett died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009.

Burial will be in Cache Cemetery.

He was born Aug. 24, 1932, in Cache, to William Loyd and Modella Smith Bennett. He married Betty C. Boydston on Jan. 16, 1951, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She died Dec. 18, 2006. He married Norma Kennedy on Nov. 21, 2007, in Wichita Falls. He worked for Larrance Tank for 34 years retiring in 1989. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter, Pamela Grimes, Cache; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Lynn Bennett, Indiahoma; five grandchildren and their spouses: Misty and Daniel Eckle, Lawton; Jeremy and Jenniffer Blaylock, Phoenix, Ariz.; Thomas Grimes, USMC, Cincinnati, Ohio; Maggie Bennett, Cache; and Keyton Bennett, Lawton; 11 great-grandchildren and their spouses: Stephanie and Mark Peak and Stephen and Amanda Fell, all of South Bend, Ind.; Seth White, Meers; Gage Bennett, Cache; Sarah and Scott Sullivan, Lawton; Daniel Blaylock, Dallas; Jeremy Blaylock Jr., Phoenix, Ariz.; Joshua Blaylock, Lawton; Chantal Rhodes, Phoenix, Ariz.; Garrett Prilliman, Wichita, Kan.; and Derrick Davis, Lawton; four great-great-grandchildren: Kayden Peak, Hunter Peak, Caleb Peak and Camron Fell, all of South Bend, Ind.; three brothers and their wives: Raymond and Donna Bennett, Apache; Russell and JoAnn Bennett, Tennessee; and Melvin and Doris Bennett, Cache; two stepdaughters: Patricia Imboden and Diana Neasbitt and her husband Buddy, all of Lawton; a stepson and his wife, Paul and Kathy Kennedy, Lawton; four step grandchildren and their spouses: Tammy and C. A. Nix, Christina Imboden, Anna and Chris Totte and Ashley Rohner, all of Lawton; three great-great step grandchildren: Gabriella Rohner, Amberly Grace Totte and Carson Nix, all of Lawton; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters and a great-granddaughter.
