COOKEVILLE -- Graveside services for Carrie Ella Allison, 95, of Cookeville, will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Cookeville City Cemetery.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Mrs. Allison died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, in NHC Health Care Center.
She was born June 7, 1914, in Putnam County.
Mrs. Allison was a homemaker and attended Bloomington Springs Church of Christ.
Her family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Allen Howard Allison and Sharon D. Martin of Cookeville; a daughter, Johnny Ruth Maddux of Cookeville; a brother, Billy G. Allen of Illinois; a sister, Edna Stewart of Algood; and two grandchildren, Johnny Maddux of Cookeville and Randy Allison of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Howard Allison; a son, Albert Glen (Speedy) Allison; three brothers, Winnell, James and Charlie Allen; and a granddaughter, Ruthada Maddux Jones.
