Mrs. Hall was a homemaker. She was a member of the New Hope Church of the United Brethren in Christ, Huntington.
She was born July 8, 1916, in Delaware, OH, to Fred and Luella Johnston Converse. She married George Edward Hall on March 31, 1937. Her husband preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1991.
Survivors include four daughters, Marilyn (Bob) Brown, of Jonesboro; Rosalyn Hughes, of Huntington; Barbara (Tom) Clements, of New Haven; and Martha (John) Harrell, of Bloomington; a son, Max Hall, of Huntington; a sister, Joann Yates, of Mentone; two brothers, Bill Converse, of Williamsburg, VA, and Jim Converse, of Macy; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
Calling is Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A service will be held Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at the New Hope Church of the United Brethren in Christ, 2001 Engle St., Huntington. Rev. Ray Seilhamer and Rev. Lyn Mefferd will officiate. Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
