Steven Gary Buck, 42, of Victorvill, Calif., formerly of Austin, died on July 24, 2009 at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, Calif. after suffering a stroke.

He was born on May 12, 1967 in Duluth, Minn.. His parents are Philip (Lucinda) Buck and Wendy (Larry) Noelker. He graduated from Austin High School in 1985. He served eight years in the United States Air Force. Steven enjoyed golfing and boating.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie; son, Steven, Victorville, Calif.; father, Philip (Lucinda), Austin; mother, Wendy (Larry) Noelkee, California; brothers, Dean (Lynn), San Antonio, Texas, Rob (Leticia), Germany, Rick, Victorville; sisters, Karen Howard, England, Kris (Robert) Scott, Little Rock, Ark., Karena (Jeff) Burkhardt, Tacoma, Wash., Kylene Vick, Seattle. He is preceded in death by a grandmother and grandfather.

A service was held on Aug. 3, 2009 at Desert View Funeral Home in Victorville with Pastor Steeve Arseneault officiating.The casket bearers were Dino Forgia, Jeffrey Bell, Tony Nocelo, Cory Adlerblum, Jason Rubalcava and Ben Ford. Interment was in Desert View Memorial Park in Victorville.

Steven G. Buck, 42, passed away July 24, 2009. He was a resident of Victorville for 22 years.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, at Desert View Funeral Home Chapel, 11478 Amargosa Road in Victorville. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at Desert View, with Pastor Steeve Arseneault officiating. Burial will be at Desert View Memorial Park.

Desert View Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
