Coleta J. Miller, 88, of Sallisaw died Thursday, July 30, 2009, in Sallisaw. She was born Nov. 3, 1920, in Akins. She was retired from Sequoyah County Nutrition Center and prior to that she had a day and night day care where she cared for many of Sallisaw's children. She was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith, a graduate of Sallisaw Central and the widow of Noah Miller. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Seventh-day Adventist Church in Sallisaw with burial at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Joan Renai and Steve Stephens of Cabot, Shirley June and Roger Flute of Sallisaw, Bonnie Sue and Jim Henson of Sallisaw and Sherry Diane and Rick Coffman of Sallisaw; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Don L. Miller of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Charles Gaylon and Lena Miller of Sallisaw; 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Don Miller; a daughter, Dortha Nell Miller; and her parents, Sam and Bonnie Ann Stewart Rinchart. Pallbearers: Gaylon Miller, Ty Stephens, Steven Stephens, Derrick Stephens, Dallas Ringgold, Jonathan Maxwell, Justin Maxwell, Derek Miller, Noah Jack Miller, Eric Coffman, Jace Coffman, Jeff Flute and Eric Flute.
