GARLAND — Allen Dwayne Steen, 61, passed away Aug. 3, 2009, in Garland..
He was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club and worked for the City of Garland for 30 years before retiring.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Steen; daughters Janice Hicks, Joy Saulters, Susan Taylor and husband Billy and Mary Davis; a son, Freddie Davis Jr.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Thelma Steen and brother, Scotty Lee Steen.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Williams Funeral Directors, 1600 South Garland Ave., Garland, Texas 75040.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the Williams Memorial Chapel with interment following at Mills Cemetery in Garland.
