Funeral services will be held at New Holstein Wednesday for Claude E. Lackershire, 67, of 2318 Wisconsin Ave., New Holstein, who died Sunday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a long illness.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. a t the Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles A. Koch, pastor of St. John's UCC, officiating. Burial will be in New Holstein Cemetery.
Mr. Lackershire was born April 7, 1903, in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lackershire, and was married to Phyllis Daniels June 9, 1934, in Spooner. He worked in the shipyards at Sturgeon Bay for many years, moving to New Holstein about a year ago.
Surviving are his wife; four sons, DeLoy, Richard and Larry, all of New Holstein, and Ronald, Algoma; two daughters. Mrs. Richard (Hazel) Miller and Lois Bridenhagen, both of Manitowoc; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Wilmer, Sturgeon Bay, Howard, Des Moines, Iowa, and Vernon, Pittsfield, Wis.; four sisters, Mrs. Edward Pautszlowf, Sobieski Corners, Wis., Mrs. Harrison Jacquet, Green Bay, Mrs. Henrietta Scott, Warren, Mich., and Mrs. John Hartman, Spooner.
