Michael R. Eagle, 62, of Baytown was born November 22, 1946 in Salisbury, NC and passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in a local healthcare facility. He was a U. S. Army Viet Nam veteran and retired from the National Security Agency in 1995.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Minnie Eagle and daughter, Jennifer Marie Eagle Gardner. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Eagle and daughters and sons-in-law, Lauren Eagle, Kaitlin Eagle, Rebecca and Jim Harrelson and Elizabeth and Cody Greenlee, all of Baytown and Gretchen Eagle of Utah; son, John Eagle of Sykesville, MD; and grandchildren, Ashley, Austin and Andrew Eagle and Emmalee and Zachariah Harrelson.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services with military honors will be Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at Houston National Cemetery.
