COCHRANE, Wis ~ Kenneth Averbeck, 56, Cochrane Rt. 1, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday following a lingering illness.
A farmer, he was born Jan. 1, 1919, in the town of Belvidere to Edward and Luella Korb Averbeck. A lifelong area resident, he married Jean Rolandt at Galesville, Wis., June 28, 1955. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Alma, Wis.
Survivors are: his wife; one daughter, Joleen, at home, and one brother, Shirl, Cochrane.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, the Rev. Robert Connolly officiating. Burial will be in the Alma Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday afternoon and evening at the Stohr-Hagen Funeral Home, Alma, where the Rosary will be said at 8:15 p.m.
