Euby Mallet, 68, of Stigler died Wednesday, 28 June 2000 in Muskogee. Funeral services were held in Eastwood Assembly of God Church. Burial in Iron Bridge Cemetery was under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Wayne Decker, Jr., TommY Decker, Travis R. Bradshaw, Allen Johnson, Charlie K. Yip and James Bray. Honorary pallbearers were John Labor, Jr., Len Clark, Joey Decker, Michael Decker and Chris Corum. Mallet was born 14 Sep 1931 to Eugene and Sylvia (Brasseux) Mallet in Carencro, LA. He was retired from the Air Force and also Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa. Survivors include his wife, Pearl (Decker) of the home; one son, John Edward Mallet of Tulsa; one sister, Mary Lou Hartman and husband, Pat of Lufkin, LA; two brothers, Roy Mallet and wife, Ruby of Lafayette, LA; Euclide Noel and wife, Edith of Carencro, LA. Also, brothers and sisters in law, George and Anita Decker of Dallas, TX, Jimmy and Nadene Decker of Tulsa, Jimmy and Edith Bray of Lequire, Ann Barnes of McCurtain Joe and Thelma Decker of McCurtain, Wayne and Roberta Decker of Tamaha and Ruth Decker of Claremore; his mother in law, Gladys Decker of McCurtain; several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife, Pearl Decker Mallet; one son, John Edward Mallet of Tulsa; one sister, Mary Lou Hartman of Lufkin, Texas; and two brothers, LeRoy Mallet of Lafayette, La., and Euclide Noel Mallet of Carencro, La.
