1. Cora Huggins Cope Hill 1888
2. Samuel Huggins 1890
3. William Arch Huggins Sr 1894
4. Maggie Huggins Bird 1898
5. Tennesse Mae Huggins Hopkins 1898
6. Mattie Mae Huggins Giltner Dotson Pratt 1900
After Jeff Huggins died in 1900, Annie married again, but not to Henry Freeman, as every known account on line, and even in "The History of Lawrence Co. Arkansas" says. She married my great grandfather, James William "Willie" Freeman, who was Henry David's brother. To prove this, check the 1910 Potter Co. Texas census. It shows the head of house as William J. Freeman, wife Ann, and four of Annie's children from Jeff Huggins, Arch, Maggie, "Tennie", and Mattie, plus a two year old from their union, Clarence. They are listed again in the 1920 Quay Co., New Mexico census as J.W. Freeman, Annie, and 12 year old Clarence.
The LaBass family was listed in the 1850, 1870 and 1880 Lawrence Co. AR censuses. The Freeman and Combs families are listed in the 1880 Lawrence Co AR census after the Freeman family was in the 1860 Butler Co MO census. James, "Willie" was first married to Mary Combs, my great grandmother.
Annie died in Tampa, Florida, but was buried here in Paden, Oklahoma near her Mother, Volumnia Frost LaBass.
Thanks to my sister Kim, for all of the information she has given to me on our family memorials. She is the one who first told me about Annie and her family.
