George T. Adams, 100, of
North Ridgeville, died Thursday
evening at the Amherst Manor
Nursing Home following a long
illness.
Born in Wingetts Run, Ohio, he
worked on the Ohio River at age
14 and later worked to bring gas
and electric lines to Elyria.
He retired from the General
Motors Company in 1947 and was
a member of the First United
Methodist Church in Elyria.
Mr. Adams is survived by a
son, Robert F. of North Ridgeville;
three grandchildren, and
five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by
his wife, Viola, in 1979, and a
daughter, Dorothy.
Friends may call tonight 7-9
p.m at the Curtis-Scheuffler
Funeral Home in Elyria.
Services will be held Saturday
at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rev. John Richard Hendricks
will officiate.
Burial will be in the Ridgelawn
Cemetery in Elyria.
