Wilma C. Hale, 93, died at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. She was born on August 30, 1919, in Cantrall, IL, to Elmer and Jessie Sexton Doom. She was first married to Carl Priddy. She later married James Hale on November 14, 1962, and he died February 25, 2000.
Also preceding her in death are her parents; one son, Carl Priddy, Jr.; one sister, Velda Kerley and four brothers, Elmer, William, Melvin and Lyle Doom.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Gladene Priddy of Springfield; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grand-children.
Wilma was a member of Riverton Christian Church. She was a retail clerk at Springfield Dry Goods and she also did babysitting in her home.
Funeral Service: Staab Funeral Home. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
