ACCORDINO - Juanita Carter, 86, was born June 12, 1922, to the late Ambrose B. and Zora Vandiver Carter in Chaplain, KY and returned to her Heavenly Father Saturday, April 18, 2009. Mrs. Accordino was a retired bookkeeper for the Jefferson County Board of Education and WKPC Television. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel D. Accordino. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Barbara Accordino and Karen Pinkerton; son-in-law, Jeff Pinkerton; grandchildren, Katie Pinkerton and Alex Pinkerton and a host of friends. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 am. Tuesday at Blessed Theresa of Calcutta, 903 Fairdale Road with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 2-8 p.m. Monday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks, Preston Highway at Brooks Road.
