John Gluck, 86, of Louisville, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was the former owner of Gluck's Bakery, an Army veteran of World War II, a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, the Catholic Golden Age I and a 20-year board member of Our Lady's Rosary Makers. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Cunningham. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Marcella Buehner Gluck; daughters, Rosemary Feldkamp, Sharon Bowles and Sandra King and her husband, Bob; five sisters, Helen Gluck, Liz Reesor, Mary Tambrallo, Madeline Gebhart (Tim), Frances Marzian (Charlie); nine grandchildren, Debbie, Don (Michelle) and Dawn Cunningham, Laura Meyer (Tim), Lisa Feldkamp, Tim (Angie) and Nick (Meredith) Hollinden, Robert and Chris King; and six great-grandchildren. His funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Raphael Catholic Church, Bardstown Road at Lancashire Ave., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Friday at Ratterman & Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mass of the Air or to Our Lady's Rosary Makers.
