One of the sadest deaths occurred in our county in a long time was that of Mary Elsie Adams, wife of Attorney J. Oscar Adams, last Sunday morning following a few days after the birh of healthy twins. Death was caused by uraemic poisoning due to conditions that existed at the time. Dr. Brroughs, assisted by Dr. Laster, had charge of the case and for 72 hours one or both of them were in attendance. Two nurses also did everything in the power to aide the mother, no avial and death took away a mother at 4:30 o'clock Sunday morning. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon with services at the Baptist church. Mrs. Adams the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Conway was born in Linn County Oregon 29 years ago. She joined the Christian church in 1898. On October 6, 1903, she was married to J. Oscar Adams and they came to Ritzville to live. Besides her husband and babes, Mrs. Adams is surivived by her mother and father and brother, Mr. J. W. Conway of Post Falls Idaho and a sister.
