Bertha E. Eichner

Funeral Services were held Friday afternoon at the First Lutheran Church in Papillion for Mrs. Bertha E. Bartels Eichner of Gretna who died at her home on September 26. She was 68 year, 7 months and 28 days old.
The Rev. H. Moellering officiated.
Mrs. Eichner was born Jan-uary 28, 1882, near Brookfield Ill. She came with her parents to a farm four and one-half miles southwest of Papillion when she was four weeks old.
She was baptized and confirmed in the First Lutheran Church.
On February 28, 1906, she married William H. Eichner. They moved to a farm three and one-half miles southeast of Gretna where they have lived ever since.
Mrs. Eichner had been troubled with arthritis for a number of years. She suffered a stroke seven months ago. She had been hospitalized for several months but returned home on June 12.
She is survived by her husband, William H.; sisters, Mrs. Minnie Burris, Pilger, and Mrs. Amelia Thompson, Fremont.
