KIDD, Rev. JOHN MANUEL - 73 of Stearns, Ky., departed this life August 15, 1973, at Scott County Hospital in Oneida, Tenn. Born in Wayne County, Ky., on October 22, 1899, he was a son of the late BILLY KIDD and BECKY CLARK KIDD. He joined the Lower Hickory Grove United Baptist Church, by letter on October 7, 1944, where he remained a faithful member until his death. He is survived by his wife ANNA JANE KIDD of Stearns, Ky.; four sons, LEONARD KIDD and Dean Kidd both of Stearns, Ky.; OTTIS KIDD of Batavia, Ohio and HAROLD KIDD of Newport, Ky.; four daughters, Mrs. BERTHA BUCHANAN, of Winchester, Ohio; Mrs. ESSIE WORLEY of Monticello, Ky.; Mrs. INA WATTERS of Sidney, Ohio and Mrs. DONNA FROST of Stearns, Ky.; one brother, SILAS KIDD of Muncie, Ind.; four sisters, Mrs. LILLIE BELL, of Monticello, Ky.; Mrs. ETHEL BURKES, Mrs. VIRGIE DOLEN and Mrs. HATTIE BURKES, all of Slavans, Ky.; 23 grandchildren and 29 great?grandchildren. Funeral services were held August 18, in Lower Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Rev. GILBERT TROXEL and Rev. CHARLES TAYLOR officiating. Burial was in the Angel Cemetery.
