Carrie Thomas Johnson Price, 95, of Greensburg, KY, died Monday, July 28, 2008, at Golden Living Center-Green Hill in Greensburg. Daughter of the late Lucian Johnson and Ann Lizzie Loyall Johnson, she was born on April 10, 1913, in Taylor County. She was a member of Hodges Chapel United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She was married to Lewis Y. Price in December 1929. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1979. Survivors include 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Frances Money of Summersville, KY, and Barbara & Haywood Marr of Louisville, KY; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Wayne & Louise Price of Summersville, KY, and Johnnie Robert & Sally Price of Louisville; a sister and brother-in-law, Leona & Morris Ingram of Valley Station, KY; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Charles E. Money; a sister, Mae Johnson; and a brother and sister-in-law, Woodrow & Lillian Bale Johnson. Funeral was Wednesday, July 30 at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Bros. Mike Moon and Darrell Hensley officiated. Pallbearers were Forrest Mast, George Johnson Jr., Josh Price, Kevin Price, C.E. Money, Scott Money and Bud Price. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Bale, Richard Milby, Lester Williamson, Gene Price, Monk Price, Calvin Durrett, Jessie Ray Price, T.J. Hodges, R.D. Johnson, Todd Price, Gordon Price, Clint Bale, Nick Money, Michael Money and Elroy Pepper.
