He was promoted to 2nd lieutenant September 13 and honorably discharged with his company May 31, 1865.
He married Mary Miller and fathered Amanda (b. 1851, d. 01/26/52), Edwin M. (b. @1856), Sarah E. (b. 1861), Cora M. (b. @1866), and Stella M. (b. 1871). In 1880-90, he lived in Harrisburg, Dauphin County.
