Dorothy L. Bault, 88, Mitchell, formerly of Spencer, passed away at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday August 5, 2009 at Bedford Regional Medical Center.

Born Aug. 17, 1920, in Gosport, she was the daughter of Alfred and Grace (Payton) Kiser. She was first married to Lloyd McNeal. Her second marriage was to Benjamin Bault May 18, 1959, and he preceded her in death Dec. 1, 1995.

She retired from food service at Indiana University and was an auxiliary member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion in Spencer.

Surviving are her children, Patricia and Duane Marshall of Bellvue, Wash., Larry and Connie McNeal of Dade City, Fla., Kenneth McNeal, Kent, Wash., Vicki and Dean Mergner, Renton, Wash.; stepson, Dick Bault of Martinsville; sister, Mary Sims of Spencer; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Her parents; husband; stepson, Bill Bault; sister, Lucille Robinson; and brothers, Emery Kiser and Dick Kiser, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Jones officiating. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery at Spencer.
