McCOOL - Alma Ruth Dacus Bowie, 89, homemaker, died Thursday of cancer at Whispering Pines Hospice Home in Jackson. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko with burial in Beulah Cemetery near here.
She was a member of McCool United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and McCool Senior Citizens Fellowship.
She leaves three sons, Sidney C Bowie Jr of Madison, John L Bowie of Crystal Springs and Jerry M. Bowie of North Little Rock, a sister, Gladys Allen of Ti e Plant; two brothers, Clacy Dacus of Madison and Dennis Dacus of Atlanta, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family requests that any memorials be sent to the church, Beulah Cemetery Fund or Whispering Pines Hospice Home.
